
Liguria produces some of Italy’s finest olive oils. The most famous regional olive variety is the Taggiasca, first brought to the region by Benedictine monks in the 14th century.
For over 150 years, local producer Amoretti di Lorenzo has been using Taggiasca olives to make artisan oils in northern Liguria. Taggiasca olive oils are delicate and rich in flavour, with a fruity note. Amoretti's extra virgin Taggiasca olive oil is now exclusively available outside Italy in our online shop.
