Leone has been making confections in the northern Italian city of Turin since 1857. This glass jar is a reproduction of the iconic jars Leone resellers would traditionally have on their counters to display their sweets.
This jar contains:
- 2x Small paper box with handmade mixed flavour after-dinner pastilles from Leone (41g). These after-dinner sweets were the first ever pastilles created by Luigi Leone in the mid-1800s.
- 2x Small paper box with handmade sweet mixed flavour pastilles from Leone (41g).
- 2x Small paper box of handmade sweet pastilles with orange blossom flavour from Leone (41g). These unique pastilles were first created at the end of the 1800s and were named after the Prince of Naples.
- 1x Large paper box of handmade violet drops (80g). These historic sweets are still made with traditional bronze moulds and natural violet extract.
