If there’s one type of pasta that’s associated with Venice, it’s bigoli. The origins of this thick spaghetti-like pasta can be traced back to the 1600s. The most famous bigoli of all are those made in the town of Bassano del Grappa, just north of Venice.
We're thrilled to have these extra large bigoli from Bassano in store. They are a whopping half a meter long and come handwrapped in paper packaging from Borella, the Venetian firm that has been making bigoli since 1935. We've wrapped their half-a-meter long bigoli in a traditional tea towel for extra retro vibes.
This set comes with 1kg of bigoli pasta (made of durum wheat and water) and a tea towel in various colours.
Suitable for vegetarians.
