Since 1858 Antonio Mattei has been baking almond biscuits - known locally as cantuccini - in the Tuscan town of Prato. Made with only five simple ingredients and no preservatives, they’re best enjoyed after a meal with a dessert wine (but really, we could eat them any time of day!)
