The Dalemain estate in Cumbria, northern England, has been the home of marmalade making since the late 1600s. We're thrilled to be selling two of their most acclaimed marmalades: Jane's Marmalade and The Bishop's Marmalade.
Jane's Marmalade (112g). Created by the current resident of the Dalemain mansion - Jane Hasell-McCosh - this is a proper adult marmalade. Jane's Marmalade has a rough shred with an abundance of peel giving it a fantastic fullness. Perfect as a topping on toast or gingerbread or as glazing on over-dishes.
The Bishop's Marmalade (112g). Both sweet and tangy, this marmalade is based on a recipe from the 1660s, originally created for the Bishop of Carlisle. It works well with any food, but we particularly love it served with yoghurt or on a freshly baked croissant.
